ProperXit was founded in the South Carolina Lowcountry by Matt Flewelling, a commercial real estate operator who grew a single property management role in 2000 into an integrated network of real estate enterprises spanning commercial management, vacation rentals, and investment syndication.

Matthew Flewelling - Principal
I've been managing commercial properties since 2000, starting my journey by overseeing properties for a local investor. In 2005, I took a summer job with a property management company that managed just one commercial property. Over time, I took on more responsibility, eventually purchasing the company and expanding it, which later led to the founding of separate commercial, vacation rental management and ancillary companies. My efforts in strategic partnerships, marketing initiatives, and targeted acquisitions have been crucial in developing successful real estate management and ancillary service firms, particularly in Beaufort and Jasper Counties.
Real estate investing is more than just a job to me; it's a passion. I'm committed to advising others who share this interest, drawing on my extensive experience and expertise to guide them through the complex real estate market. With a sharp business sense and an eye for opportunities, I'm looking forward to continuing to contribute to the commercial real estate investment sector for many years to come.
